Frank Diamond is a photographer based in Spain and prides himself on being self-taught.
Ranging from fine art to fashion photography, his works are consistently dark and stirring. He often shows a protagonist with a hidden identity in his images, which only adds to the mysterious nature of the conceptual photos.

Within his series, Protect your home, Diamond photographs a blue dollhouse in the cool waters of what seems like a hidden creek, alongside a human female body with the head of a white duck and bright orange, webbed feet. There is an intriguing atmosphere about these photos, the doll house and half-duck, half-woman placed together in this setting calls for a second glance and longer contemplation from the viewer. Though the subjects may seem out of place in the creek, there is an ease to the photos that suggests a secretive narrative.

He describes his works as a visual diary, a way for him to express his fears and insecurities about the world around him. He exhibits a deep personal connection to his work despite his continuation of using female subjects. Because the identity of the women are often hidden, the viewer gains an active perspective on creating a narrative that ties themselves to the photos and to Frank Diamond as a photographer, all the while the beauty and intricacy of the female form remains a focal point.

Even though Diamond does not have formal training, his use of natural light shows is impressive and he creates works that are conceptually enticing and pleasing to the eye.
