How did you come up with the idea and compositions?
The ideas are usually coming from nowhere and I’m always led by the intuition and my sense of beauty. I believe that inspiration that is coming to us is slightly quicker than our thoughts and that the artist have the sensitivity to catch it.

What is the connections between long hair and the memories?
Almost everyone has experienced a need to cut his or her hair after some major life change. It’s like cutting off our past. But in case of my photographs - and especially in the Evolve series the hair are meant to be symbols of our fears and emotions that we are paradoxically afraid to loosen up. Same as our hair.

Why are you interested in portraits?
I’m actually not much interested in portraits as a genre and as you can see, my models are completely free of expression in their faces. I’m using a human body only to express my ideas. Like dance does. Women in general are very inspirational beings (among other things) to both men and other women and that inspiration includes both physical body and mind. People have been hungry for this inspiration literally for ages and do headstands for it, either consciously or unconsciously. That is why the main objects in my photographs are people and women especially.
What do you want to achieve in the future?
My mission as an artist is very clear - being inspired and being an inspiration.
