Weekend Portfolio: Julie Eisenberg Pitman

Pitman is a working Photographic Artist based in New York city. Above are some of her selected photo-collages. 

On the work, she elaborates: "I am a collage artist and an openly ecstatic salvager who has always relished in creating new art from cast-offs. The abundance of paper source material that exist in discarded collections give me an endless vocabulary of images for composing my narrative through dissection and reassembling. I use collage as a means of both physically and conceptually bringing layered depth to my work. My images are cut from fashion magazines, journals, and books, that I piece together as parodies, which are both stylized and degenerate."
