Weekend Portfolio: Richard Westerhuis

Richard Westerhuis is a Dutch photographer who’s work encompasses staged photography as well as intuitive in the moment.

This particular project Through the Second Skin poses questions about how the intrusive, obsessive and almost embedded epidemic influence that is affecting the nature of society itself. By literally wrapping the models in a bubble, disconnecting them from society and daily life rituals.

It’s about a frustration as well as a fascination I witnessed personally, where we are disconnected from each other as our surrounding. Showing you what we are missing.
