Travel: Johannesburg
The most populous city in South Africa, Johannesburg was established during the gold rush in 1886 and has since become a vast metropolis known as the home of inspiring figures like Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. From gleaming architecture, to contemporary art galleries, to the Apartheid Museum, this city is a cultural and educational hub. Our dear friend and world traveller Sue Chalom recently explored Johannesburg as the first leg of a three week trip around Africa. Take a look below!
