My assistant, Logan, and I had been driving around Big Bend Park, Texas, all afternoon. We had stopped the truck on a mountain so that Logan could show me where Kevin Costner had painted the word “DOM” in the side of the mountain from the 1985 film “Fandango” (pretty geeky stuff- I know. Welcome to my world)

After this cinematic experience we headed back to the truck I noticed the spectacular view and I decided that in this burning and unforgiving light I would add another layer of artistry to this magical place. Luckily in the back of the truck I had an old vacuum cleaner that I had found that morning and kept in case I came across any potential filmic situations (as I was in at the moment). The white car was the ‘accident’ that I was waiting for to complete the picture.
