You introduce yourself as an actress in your website statement, I'm curious what impact did your acting experience have on your photography? In what ways?

Through my work as an actress, I practiced to observe life, to find the beauty of the everyday and to see the world poetically. This experience flows into my photography. I am trying to communicate with people and I follow my instinct when I capture the photos.

Do you see any similarities or differences between the roles of actress and street photographer, especially in the ways of observing the world?

Curiosity and observation are an essential part of street photography and in acting. As an actress, I want to explore and know more about human nature, aiming to embody a role and give answers.

In photography, instead, I am asking questions: Who or where am I? Do you see what I see? These questions are not only directed at the viewers but also at myself.

Are there any masters of street photography who inspired or amazed you the most?

I adore the sensitive, brilliant photos of Diane Arbus and Vivian Maier on the one hand and the colors and complexity of Alex Webb and Harry Gruyaert on the other hand. I also like the humor of Joel Meyerowitz.

In street photography, capture candid and unstaged moments, and construct perfect lighting in the aesthetics aspect. Which one is more important/interesting to you?

I find that very often a good photo has a balance of a candid moment in good light.
