About the Artist

Ludovico Franzolini was born in Pordenone, north of Italy, in 1992. During his university years he studied visual arts and film restoration. As a self-taught photographer he is influenced by 90s Japanese magazines, underground cinema, and experimental music. He is currently based in Milan.

About the Work

These works were shot for personal purposes as a collaboration with makeup artist Vanessa Icareg. The work plays and mixes elements of mask, magic, religion and style.
