Art Basel’s 13th edition in Miami Beach closed Sunday, December 7, 2014. Hailed as a “smashing success” in just five days the event attracted over 73,000 and many private collectors. Featuring works from 267 international galleries from 31 countries, many rare works where exhibited for the first time ever in an art fair context. The art fair brought a week's worth of culture, fashion, and celebration to Miami while celebrities like Usher and Miley Cyrus brought the star power to the sunshine state. Events like these are truly a gift to the communities they belong to and to the art community as a whole.
