Musée's NYFW update: Diesel power

Musée's NYFW update: Diesel power

Diesel Black Gold next season is going to be actually silver. Designed by Andreas Melbostad new collection is telling a story about futurism and monochromy: the main colors for FW 2014 are black, white and silver. And as we've already written before that's not only the Diesel's choice. The show took a place at the mail sorting room of the US post office on 33rd street, but atmosphere there was pretty Brooklyn. Bloggers and journalists definitely liked it: instagram-star Chiara Ferragni posted something like "gimme all those coats and jackets" and got 15K likes, and it means a lot, doesn't it?

After Diesel was almost total black&white MM6 Maison Martin Margiela and Marc Jacobs with ugly (sure we meant "fashion") sneakers-moonboots. And by the end of the day stylish crowd moved to cosmic Elie Tahari presentation. Decorated with plastic umbrellas and ultraviolet lights the flagship store looked like a spaceship, and amazing jewelry by Erickson Beamon reminded parts of some big intergalactic machine. Ideal match for futurism, minimalism and geometry in the collection, which was getting attention pedestrians on 5th avenue through a window-porthole.
