Gladstone Gallery Presents Richard Prince’s Ripple Paintings. The series is the middle of two other series Prince has been working on. Ripple Paintings started in 2015 by collecting cartoons from the Playboy magazines from 1967-1970. The cartoons were then manipulated with water and water colors and from there the work evolved and was completed in 2017.
