Figuring History: Robert Colescott, Kerry James Marshall and Mickalene Thomas

On February 15, 2018 the Seattle Art Muesum will be opening the group exhibition Figuring History organized by SAM featuring work from Robert Colescott, Kerry James Marshall and Mickalene Thomas. The work coming from 3 different generations explores and redefines history painting in a contemporary light.
