These photos are from my second book, Open-Ending, and they were taken in 2005-2015. I traveled to a lot of places in China during this time, but I didn't want to record every aspect of China. The reality is often strange that China is also a complex country. But with the passage of time, when I look at these pictures now, I think it's more like my dream.
