About the Artist:
Patricia Echeverria Liras is a multidisciplinary artist. She runs “The Office for Public Therapy Politics” a new media and documentary production studio. She has directed and produced international projects including a “Public Therapy Tour” with AM Qattan Foundation, “Outside In,” a playback performance with the Freedom Theatre, “Parallel Utopias,” at the Korean DMZ with National Geographic, “In This Land” with SAT, NYU ITP, and the Venice Biennale College Lab. Her VR film “Remember this Place” recently premiered at the Venice International Film Festival, and is currently touring international festivals.
About the Project: Remember this Place
The following images form part of “Remember this Place” a multi-media project that seeks to digitalize the memories of homes that are threatened to be erased. The project was created in collaboration with Palestinian Bedouin artists and activists. Many of the photos in this series were created in collaboration with artist Roba Fraowna.
